Radioactive Green

I’m back with a radioactive green bang (if you’re reading this elsewhere, drop by and help me find the bugs) and 100% less Daz commercial (I took that pretty bad). With so much going on over the past few months, things have been quiet around here (that phrase lazy bloggers use is such a cliché, isn’t it?) and I haven’t posted since November! Well, I’m ready to go again with my general aim to write regularly about all the things I allude to in the little bit about this blog below. This’ll be the last post for a long time where I write about myself or my blog. I promise. And I didn’t want to make a big thing about starting-up again either. So, in the words of Marla Singer, how’s this for not making a big thing?

  1. I wasn’t around in the ‘Daz’ days, but man.. this is some funky green shiz-nit you’ve got going on here.

Thought I hated the design initially but it’s actually surprisingly easy to read. Sort of drags you in with it’s big letters and the “all you need and nothing more” layout.

A sense of the fun and easy-going about it. I like.

    And welcome back, I guess.

  2. Loving the new look, Eoghan. Great use of design to differentiate and by going LARGE, it shows that you’re focusing on the key message.

PS. thanks for the recommendation & link

  3. The goggles do nothing! The new design really suits you Eoghan - any chance of a Cillit Bang edition? Oh, and thanks for the link-love.

  4. Thanks guys. It’s all in the name of fun. I decided if I wanted to have a nasty-green-coloured site I’ll have nasty-green-coloured site because it’s my bloody site! I think most people will hate it though.

  5. I preferred you in white Eoghan
daz-man.com is available just in case

  6. Very interesting and different design which is good to see on blogs. On the home page i think you either need a divider or more space between posts as its hard to see where one ends and one starts.

Also the ’strong’ text with in a post seems a bit much to me but I’m sure that was intentional.

Lastly should there not be more space between the tittle of the post and the first link of text in the post? the green background is touching it at the moment on my browser anyhow (firefox 2)
